I don’t know how to let go. How to stop fighting. How can I stop fighting for people?
I’m sitting here, and I know Rob is going to see this, yet I don’t care. He should see it.
I can’t talk to you anymore. I can’t. Every time, it results in you taking the opposite side. Every time. Doesn’t…
Ah, the all-knowing Rory speaks! I was never against forgiving. Just trusting. Nor was I against patching things up (admittedly I was at first.)
Always right? Attractive? Both are clearly an exaggeration, however I will accept the compliment with a thank you.
One question? I have many questions, some of the bigger ones I already know the answer to yet they still haunt me.
I guess my question would be a request to come home early.
Oh, I see. Did I ruin your vibe? Did I make you upset? Did I make you angry and pissed at me? Are you thinking curse words right now?
Now, that was hurtful, wasn’t it? Insensitive. Nasty. Mean. Thoughtless. That is what cussing is like for most people. All of those things and more.
No you did not make me upset. I am not thinking curse words I am laughing to myself honestly.
I spent several years of my life around people who had dirty minds, and cussed all the time. So did my dad. Nothing good comes of using such language. Nothing. I am still, years later, having to deal with the dark effects of nasty language and how it changes things.
You seem so sure that nothing good can come out of such a bad thing. So again I bring up the point that you must have seen everything. Experiences differ. How do you know I haven’t seen good things come out of cussing? God has done wonderful things with horrible people by making them good. If he can do such a thing to a murderer, a rapist, or a pedophile, who are you to say such things cannot happen with words?
Btw, ignorance is a state of mind, not a cuss word.
I never said ignorance was a cuss word. I thought I defined it quite clearly actually. It was something along the lines of “Sitting in your own opinion with contempt for another’s opinion, and a refusal to discuss the matter.” When that happens you either know you are wrong, through a weak argument. Or are being ignorant.
These arguments, this unwillingness to accept that I have different opinions and leave it at that, this constant goading, is what destroyed our friendship.
I am willing to accept that you have different opinions. If I recall correctly I merely brought points up and you did everything you can to prove yourself right. Which is why I had so much fun talking you in circles around every one of them.
There is nothing Radical about a cussing christian. It’s just sad. How can you separate yourself from the world if you act the same as everybody else?
So because I cuss I must also fit into every other negative connotation of this world? [Discrimination is a form of ignorance.] By challenging beliefs How am I conforming to this world? If anything I am looking for truth. I am completely open to someone proving me wrong. The problem is that they haven’t. You refuse to challenge your beliefs and that either stems from being comfortable in the spot you are in with this world, or you think you know better that the ones you discuss things with.
Does cussing glorify God?
You are assuming there is no way such a thing is possible, I am simply suggesting you are wrong. So riddle me this, does talking glorify God?
Ask someone who stopped cussing why they went to the effort. Go on, ask.
I sense a bit of facetiousness here, but I will reply anyways. More than likely they will say it was for God. And I am not denying that. Did He not call you to delete your Tumblr? He never called me or numerous other Christians to do that. Maybe it is because different plans are involved for each person’s life. This is the same thing that I tried making clear to you before I was going to enlist. And you still seem to ignore it.
Oh, and you really shouldn’t judge someone when they say they have no energy for something. You have no idea why. Do you know what I’ve been through the last two weeks? Do you? No. So don’t judge me. Or anyone else. All you’ll do is continue to drive people away.
I am sorry, but like I said. Some things are worth fighting for. Be a warrior, you seem to like being called one, so fight for something! This is all revolving around God and you back down. That is not what a warrior does.
I have only ever tried to speak the truth to you. Only the truth
Oh no, the truth lies in questions, and answers. If you refuse to discuss something you refuse to ‘speak the truth.’ All this time you seem to have thought that you were supposed to be teaching me something, and I do not deny that as I have learned some things. But maybe God put me in your life to teach you something as well.
My laptop is burning my leg at the moment.
I want to make it clear that I am a Christian. And I believe the Bible to be 100% accurate. (Hate on it if you’d like. Your loss.)
However recently I kind of walked away. I had a general distaste for the whole idea, I still believed in God and Jesus, but something tasted so sour about it. And…
I agree about sticking to the stuff we were taught as kids. If we have this massive list of rules to follow then where is the freedom of Christ? We should be motivated by the Spirit not by what is “acceptable” in Christianity. I was taught as a kid that if I didn’t repent of all my sins before the next day that if I died or Jesus came back I would go to hell. Since i started reading the bible for myself and relying on HIM to teach me I’ve learned in leaps and bounds. It’s amazing. We tend to direct Christianity on ourselves, it’s not about us or what we don’t do or say. It’s about GOD and HIS GLORY.
This is about as clear as I possibly could have put it. Thanks.
Nothing is EVER positive, until you make it positive.

Too many Christians are sticking by their beliefs they were taught growing up, or the standard majority opinion. I find that sickening to be honest. Just as an atheist must learn the truth and question their beliefs. So should we, as Christians. You will never get anywhere if you refuse to discuss something. And you will only make yourself look like a blabbering fool if you choose to preach your view but not even look into other views (i.e. posting things that support your view and deleting posts that are against it.)
You are only digging yourself a hole and wallowing in your ignorance. Quite frankly, that is something I refuse to do. And if you act like this you will loose my respect. I do not care who you are or how many degrees you have. If you are unwilling to have a discussion, you are not on the side of truth.
Energy? I have been watching my one year old nephew all day. Before that I got maybe three hours of sleep. And the past two weeks overall I have been doing nothing other than taking care of my one year old nephew, averaging maybe five hours of sleep a night. If lucky.
I have no energy. But some things are worth the extra effort.
but I really don’t have the energy to do this right now.
You want to see Jesus rebuke someone? Go read about the pharisees, and the sadducees, and the various other non-repentant sinners.
How can cussing build someone up? Please excuse me while I say this but, that’s just ignorant. If you need cussing to feel good about something, then you need to re-evaluate yourself.
Cussing is no replacement for meaningful discourse. Ever.
Your ironic statement seriously just made me giggle. [ How can cussing build someone up? Please excuse me while I say this but, that’s just ignorant.]
What is ignorant is to deny something because you disagree with it and then refuse to discuss it.
So with that in mind read your post again.
When people curse, we need to be looking at the why. What’s the motive and thinking behind it?
I have never seen anyone use a curse word in a positive light or to accomplish anything good.
Just throwing that out there.
You may not have…
I do it myself from time to time.

Thank you Miranda! My thoughts exactly.
Again, you are implying that you have seen everything. False logic. What if people who’s only source of Christianity was from witnessing the antics of the Westboro Baptist Church, they could then say ‘Nothing good has ever come from religion.’ and their logic is about as correct as yours is.

I do not remember arguing about this. Ever. In fact up until just today my stance on this subject has been undefined. I…
Here’s the thing; It can be argued, if…
My bible is out of reach, and I have done research into this before. This has also been on my heart for a while, and that is contributing to why I am questioning this logic.
It may be offensive to people, I agree. This is why I do not post it onto public forums or walk around town swearing. It is something that happens when I am around friends. People that I know.

You may not have seen it, but using that logic implies you have seen everything.

Here’s the thing; It can be argued, if unconvincingly, that swearing is harmless.
So I will ask you this; In the bible, what where curses used for? Did any of the Godly men swear or cuss? Why were curses pronounced? What was the effect of those curses?
When you cuss, or curse, or swear, what are you really doing?
I can’t give you any of the examples you wish for. But by going off of what people did in the bible you could make yourself look like a monster. The important part is what motives were involved in such examples.
And generally I am having a casual conversation. With someone I am comfortable with. In the rare instance I am tearing someone down it is because I am venting to someone because I am angry in the heat of the moment and would never say those things to someone with intent to hurt them.
radical-christianity reblogged your post: Yes it does
This is based on the assumption swearing is always wrong and sinful though.
I have not the heart to dance in circles with you tonight, especially over something we have already argued.
I do not remember arguing about this. Ever. In fact up until just today my stance on this subject has been undefined. I just think people aren’t truly reading what is in the bible when they say swearing is a sin.
radical-christianity reblogged your post: Somebody! Anybody!
bible really forbids swearing.
Matthew 15:11
“Not that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man; but that which cometh out of the mouth, this defileth a man.”
This is based on the assumption swearing is always wrong and sinful though.
Give me something to write or talk about?
See, the thing is, stuff doesn’t just come to mind for me. It has to be brought up in a conversation, or asked about, or anything. ‘
So, please?
(oh, and, please nothing about marriage)
How much the bible really forbids swearing.
- Someone's Facebook Status: I am all about having your point of view and all. But, please don't push your religion down my throat.
- What I wanted to reply with: Sorry, just trying to feed you. Hope you don't starve in your ignorance.
Their grammar was horrible and I couldn’t bring myself to ‘like’ something with such horrible grammar. Come on now, it really isn’t that hard to spell now is it?
Happens often, the worst part is I was taking a neutral position in the argument. People need to educate themselves more in the future. Especially if they want to talk to me. I may seem very egotistical, and to be honest I kind of am, but this is a pattern that is all too prevalent.

Not a space cowboy?
Considered it. Seemed a bit too Venser for me. By the way Venser: You’d make a great 10th Doctor.
I love finding out the Mods are Whovians. I plan on making a Time Lord Deck
The illusionists are going to take care of the cosmetic differences but… I am going to be a hero for Halloween.
Nathan Fillion is the man. Jus’ sayin.
Grixis for the win!
Whatever. I still believe books are better burned than worshiped. How are you ever to experience the thrill of adrenaline if you do naught but sit and ponder musty pages?
But have you not learned so many spells from books?
Or scrolls?
Yeah, I don’t see Chandra really having a ‘Thirst For Knowledge’ or being really logical in any way. She is pure instinct, and I for one prefer logic.
By turn 7-8 I’ve got between 15 and 20 permanents and if it keeps going they grow at a crazy rate…
I’ve got no room to lay everything out for a camera to see without feeling like I’m cheating the other guy “oh by the way, you didn’t see this but I cast it five turns ago”.
((Jacemod…
Funny story. As much as I make fun of Bolas, I too have an EDH deck built for him. I do have the Elder Dragon AND planeswalker.
Similarly… I plan on building a deck that has Karn and Karn in it.
I have a deck I plan on building, I found a few easy infinite proliferate and infinite mana combos. The deck I plan on building would theoretically be able to cast Nicol Bolas, Planeswalker and Jace, The Mindsculptor and use both of their top abilities in a single turn.

((Jacemod uses Captain Sisay and is slowly losing EDH buddies over her))
Right now I have three Commander decks, One built around Nicol Bolas, Planeswalker (Using Sedris, the Traitor King until I can purchase the Elder Dragon version of Bolas.) One built around Chromium, and one built around Palladia-Mors.
I love them each equally, but if I ever get that Elder Dragon Bolas, that will be my favorite by far.
He’s all:
And I’m all:
Nine was my personal favorite.
:D
Maybe I can get her to annoy Bolas with me.
Do your notes reveal anything about this then?
And if Gitaxias is correct, I fear for you my friend.
My notes don’t give any indication of me actually going through with experiments in self-duplication…
Alternate dimensions then? Time travel?
Do we need a Doctor?
I LOVE AND UNDERSTAND THIS REFERENCE!!!
The first set is based off of Dante’s Inferno and I am currently working on that.
I could use some help with the artwork, but I do not have any money to pay someone for it.
If you are willing to oblige I would be very appreciative.
Just for the GIF :p
4 active Pyromancers
Play Army of the Damned, get four copies
Play Reverbate before Army of the Damned resolves, copy all 5 AotD’s
130 2/2’s.
I enter the Scoop Phase.
Play two shrivels on my next turn.
Just, in the form of death.
No one said a thing.
Dizzy, and I have a headache. Very dizzy.
I understand if it is because of bullying, or even depression, or if someone other the person committing suicide is at fault. But what if someone just doesn’t care what if they are their own reason to commit suicide?
Thats love.
Not sure if I should buy individual cards or a pack. If I do buy individual card I am getting Nicol Bolas, the elder dragon, I already have the planeswalker.
If I had enough money I would definitely be buying Jace the mindsculptor.
And when I think of all the places
I just don’t belong
I’ve come to grips with life
And realize this is going too far
